Lawn Care Specialists work to beautify landscaping for residential areas, government organizations, and office properties. They may also negotiate contracts with homeowners associations or local neighborhoods. This position often requires careful handling of chemicals to assist in the growth of lawns and prevent weed disruption. Herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and pesticides may be utilized. Other duties may include trimming hedges, maintaining flower beds and hedges, mowing grass, and fertilizing.
